Ann Jordan Farm, an estate of nearly 5,000 acres in Coosa County, Alabama, was a gift to the University of Alabama by Sidney A. Mitchell, son of Sidney Z. Mitchell. It is named for Sidney Z. Mitchell's grandmother and includes the Jordan family home. Sidney Z. Mitchell himself was born in Dadeville, Alabama, and graduated from the U.S. Naval Academy in 1866.
